Which Custom Car Accessory Are You Looking To Buy?

Once you’ve bought a car, new or used, there is usually a car accessory or two that you really need, and would like to get a good price on.

First of all, if you bought the car new, many dealers will throw in the occasional brand name custom car accessory, like wheel nut covers, license plate frames, and organizers that hang over the back of a front seat, and hold tissues, maps, extra keys, etc.

If you don’t mind paying the higher price, you can buy a particular car accessory direct from the dealer. But chances are, you’ll do better on price, and get equal or even better quality on things like car covers, by surfing the Internet, or checking your local auto supply stores.

Whether you’re looking for a brand logo decal or an armrest for a particular make and model which would be classified as a custom car accessory, you’ll do far better by shopping around and finding out who stocks them. Try local outlets first, then catalog sources or Internet sites. Sometimes a custom car accessory has to be ordered, which could up the price. It might be cheaper in the long run, to have a bit more patience and keep looking.

If you’re frustrated in the search for a specific car accessory, and have covered all the big suppliers, don’t rule out smaller dealerships and shops. You’d be surprised at how often these outlets have special items still in stock, that are gone from the big stores as soon as they appear.
