Ages ago, I tried my hand at body building. I have always preferred weight lifting over any other exercise (I absolutely detest running/jogging). And since I grew up on a farm where I was the one and only farmhand, I have always been naturally strong with that “corn fed” look about me. But I still needed the extra edge to really build up my muscles.
While I was in my body building phase, I drank a lot of protein shakes - a lot. Sometimes I would have 3 or 4 a day. Some of them were better than others and they were always best when I was at home with access to a blender and ice cubes. But I discovered a shaker cup one day and found that the shake with a couple ice cubes in the cup was pretty darn good. It was at least much better than mixing it with a spoon in a regular glass.
