Everybody Loves Freebies

Freebies are everyone’s best friend. They provide so much happiness and they require nothing back in return. No one can resist being handed something and subsequently being told that there’s no cost attached. Getting freebies is a humbling experience, but it’s also an experience you’ll easily get used to, because there are so many great freebies you can get your hands on.

Whether you’re into beauty products, music, screensavers, baby stuff, coupons or anything else, you’ll be able to find it–and you’ll be able to get it free of charge. That’s what freebies are all about. All you have to do is look around. If you seek, you will find. Freebies are everywhere these days, but only those who diligently seek them out will be able to obtain them.

You might be wondering why, in the name of modern capitalism, a vendor in its right mind would give out freebies left, right and center. The answer, quite frankly, is simple. Vendors know that the masses can barely resist sales and cannot resist freebies. So what vendors do is provide free samples of quality products. Once a consumer has been able to experience, risk free, how great the products are, he or she will be more likely to actually buy the products in the store. If this marketing strategy weren’t working, vendors wouldn’t be giving out freebies.

Now, you don’t have to buy a product simply because you used the freebies you were sent. But the truth of the matter is that consumers tend to buy brands that are familiar to them. So if you send in for a free bar of bath soap, and if you use it and enjoy it, the next time you’re in the drugstore, you’ll more likely to buy the brand of soap you’ve tried than to buy a competing brand.
